Whoever heard of office politics as something that is said in a constructive manner? In my experience if you are really good at your job, the work that you do speaks for itself.

  • Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank. Proverbs 22:29

Unfortunately the more senior the rank, the harder it is to create work that is recognized due to the increasing competitiveness and rivalry that one can often find. But fundamentally, office politics divides rather than unites, destroys rather than builds. So learn to see it, deal with it, correct it, and above all avoid doing it yourself.

  • A lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin. Proverbs 26:28
